“FLOP”- A tag that ruins a person’s hopes, dreams, career and much
more. In an industry like Bollywood people are ready to shift the moons
and stars, just to avoid the flop title. But Hit and flop are the two
faces of the same coin. Some are capable enough to flip the coin in no
time.







Here are a few names burdened under the flop title in acting but the tables turned when they turned to direction.
7. Arbaaz Khan
Salman is the only Khan brother who made a good name in the acting line. Though Arbaaz tried his stars quite a few times, he wasn’t made for acting. Though the industry knows him well as a director.
6. Rakesh Roshan
Initially, he did a good lead in acting. In 1987, he tried with directing. Well, he is made for the field. He gave a good number of iconic hits under his direction.
5. Jugal Hansraj
The cutest man in the industry. He did some good projects but failed to make a good impact on the audience. He started directing with an animated film Roadside Romeo. That bought him to his real forte.
4. Ashutosh Gowarikar
He is one of the most known directors in the industry. His acting career couldn’t fetch him the fame he deserved but directing did it for sure. ‘Jodha Akbar” and “Lagan” are two of his iconic works.
3. Pooja Bhatt
Mahesh Bhatt’s elder kid religiously grasped his interests. She tried her feet in acting too but gave up after a few projects. She directed “Holiday”, “jism2”, “Paap” and a few more.
2. Abhishek Kapoor
His debut film was “Uff! yeh Mohabatt”. He constantly failed in acting and so decided to turn to direction. His good works are “Fitoor” and “Rock on”.
1. Subhash Ghai
He had his major interests in acting. But destiny had some other plans. The movies under his direction are enough to prove his dedication and talent of directing.
