Oppo has launched a new smartphone, dubbed Oppo A7 in China and Nepal. The company has launched the 4GB RAM/64GB internal storage variant in China, whereas, in Nepal, the device has been launched in the 3GB RAM/32GB internal storage option. The Chinese unit is priced at CNY 1,599 (or approx Rs 16,500) and in Nepal, it is priced at NPR 35,790 (or approx Rs 22,000).
In China, the device is available in Fresh Powder, Lake Light Green and Amber Gold colour options and in Nepal, it is available in Glaring Gold and Glaze Blue colour options. The device will go on sale in China starting November 22, no sale date has been specified for the variant launched in Nepal.
Key features include a 4,230mAh battery, 6.2-inch HD+ IPS LCD display, dual cameras on the back, gradient colour options and an AI selfie camera.
In terms of specifications, Oppo A7 sports a 6.2-inch HD+ IPS LCD waterdrop display with a resolution of 1520×720 pixels. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor paired with Adreno 506 GPU. It comes with 3GB/4GB of RAM along with 32GB/64GB of internal storage expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card. The device runs Google’s Android 8.1 Oreo with the company’s own ColorOS 5.2 skin on top. All of this is backed by a 4,230mAh battery.
The device sports a dual camera setup on the back specifications of which will be revealed on the sale date. However, a few previous leaks have pointed out that the dual camera setup will feature a 13MP primary sensor paired with a 2MP secondary sensor. On the front, it features a 16MP sensor for taking selfies with AI capabilities.
