Several images of Asus Zenfone 6 have surfaced online, hinting at the imminent launch of the next-generation smartphone. While a handful of leaked image spotted earlier was of the device itself, the latest images show functioning devices, that represent possible design features from the Zenfone 6 series. One of these Zenfone devices showcases a small notch placed over the side of the display’s top edge, HDblog.it.
Two potential ZenFone 6 models can be spotted from the latest image renders, one of which, seen in blue, sports a rectangular notch. The functional device, seen in silver represents a new notch design, that hosts the front camera, and is placed near the top right corner of the display. It also shows the receiver mic with metallic grille insulation on the topmost edge of the display. These leaked images of the upcoming ZenFone 6 indicate the presence of minimal bezels on the side and top, as well as a visible chin.
HOT DEALS
Other Zenfone 6 design aspects revealed through these images include the volume rockers and power button present over the right side, as well as antenna lines that only appear over the phone’s edges. Both phones can be seen with a 3.5mm headphone jack at the bottom, as well as a Type-C USB port.
While the Zenfone variant with a rectangular notch shows a regular speaker grille, placed to the right of the USB port, the variant with the sideways notch is seen with two speaker grilles, indicating the presence of stereo speakers. Also, the dual rear cameras on the blue ZenFone can be seen at the top left corner, as the back also reveals a fingerprint scanner. Meanwhile, the silver model comes with dual rear cameras at the middle, though a fingerprint scanner appears absent.
The previous leak indicates the possibility of one Zenfone 6 variant having a camera embedded inside the display. Like the Zenfone 5 series, Asus is expected to launch the Zenfone 6 series at the upcoming MWC. The original ZenFone 5 series was also unveiled at the 2018 MWC tech show.
