An FIR has been lodged in Suburban Bandra against actor and self-proclaimed film critic Kamal R Khan for allegedly passing derogatory remarks on social media about the deceased actors Rishi Kapoor and Irrfan Khan. Khan had reportedly taken to Twitter on April 30 to announce the hospitalization of Rishi Kapoor and tweeted saying the actor must not die as the wine shops were expected to open early.
He had also taken pot-shots at Irrfan Khan, a day before his April 29 death, according to sources. Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor succumbed to cancer for the unversed on April 30, less than 24 hours after Irrfan Khan died on April 29 from colon infection.

He allegedly had also taken pot-shots at Irrfan Khan, the official added a day before his death on April 29.
"We have registered a FIR against Kamal R Khan for making derogatory remarks about both the deceased actors under section 294 (punishment for obscene acts or words in public) as well as other IPC provisions," said a senior police official.
So far no arrest has been made, and further investigation has been underway, he said.
