PUBG PC Gets Bots, Ranked Mode and More With Update 7.2:Check here

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG) PC has received the latest 7.2 update that will bring bots to online PC servers, along with a much-anticipated Ranked Mode. This is considered a major update for the popular royal battle game, as the Ranked Mode was a much anticipated feature after other related games such as Fortnite and Apex Legends had it back a while. Bots, on the other hand, were a contentious subject among PUBG gamers, as experienced players opposed introducing bots.

The developers have said adding bots will help close the widening skill gap, creating an increasingly challenging environment for some players. PUBG developers had said in a blog post last week that while veterans continue to fine-tune their skills and improve, many newer players are eliminated early with no kills – and often without dealing with any harm.

Bots were released initially only for the PUBG test servers. They will show up for everyone after today's update though. The Update 7.2 patch notes, however, explain bots can only appear in regular games and will pop up less often as the ability of a player increases. Since veteran PUBG gamers opposed adding bots in the game, Engadget's report also shows dozens of commentators on the live feed of a streamer calling the update a "joke," and the move represents "the saddest day for PUBG." However, given the vast user base of the game, adding bots to get newer players hooked looks like the right move for PUBG.
