Redmi Note 9 Pro Max Begins New Update With Android Security Patch from April 2020

Redmi Note 9 Pro Max has begun receiving a new software update that will bring the security patch to Android in April 2020. The Redmi smartphone released in India in March and placed on first sale earlier this week was previously carrying the Android Security patch for March. Of course, the new update isn't that fresh as we're already in mid-May, and some companies including Xiaomi rival Realme have brought their affordable models with the May security patch. The next sale of Redmi Note 9 Pro Max will also take place next week.

Xiaomi rolls out the new software update for Redmi Note 9 Pro Max with the firmware version MIUI v11.0.2.0.QJXINXM. The company's changelog does not specify any new additions, although it confirms the arrival of the Android security patch in April 2020. Additionally the scale of the update is 338 MB.
