New Delhi: "Love you always, Daddy," Rishi Kapoor 's daughter Riddhima wrote on Instagram as she posted a photo of Tuesday's prayer meeting with the late star. Held yesterday evening at Neetu Kapoor's home in Bandra, Rishi Kapoor's closely knit prayer meeting was attended only by family members and a few of the Bachchans, family friends of the Kapoors.
Rishi Kapoor's son Ranbir, who stays with girlfriend Alia Bhatt during the lockdown, arrived at the prayer meeting with the actress to be with mom Neetu and sister Riddhima. Randhir Kapoor, a 73-year-old brother of the late actor, who arrived in a separate vehicle, was escorted by an assistant inside Neetu's Bandra house. Karisma 's sister Kareena, who rushed to be with her family at the hospital where Rishi Kapoor died, was not seen at the prayer meeting. Kareena and her husband, the actor Saif Ali Khan had attended the funeral.
Meanwhile on Tuesday, Riddhima shared a couple of heart-wrenching moments from the prayer meeting with Rishi Kapoor. In these words, she captioned a picture of Ranbir and her praying with folded hands: "Your legacy will live on forever ...... we love you."
