Deepika’s Hilarious Comment On Kartik As He Asks A Question About Her Cannes Shenanigans Wins The Web

Deepika Padukone has posted a throwback video recording from her Cannes stint in 2019 on Instagram late Thursday. The video shows Deepika enjoying to the fullest while getting ready for her red carpet appearance. The behind-the-scenes video recording showcases her dancing to music and acting goofy.

While posting the said video on Instagram, Deepika wrote, “Green Room Shenanigans… #cannes #throwbackthursday.” The actress can be witnessed in a bathrobe and is having a great time while getting her hair done. This was the 2nd day appearance of Deepika at the Cannes Film Festival for the screening of the movie Dolor Y Gloria (Pain and Glory), where she graced the red carpet in a ruffled lime green Giambattista Valli robe boasting of a train.

The video got over 3.7 million views in just a few hours. Dashing hunk Kartik Aaryan did not understand a word used by the actress and asked her to explain the meaning. He wrote, “Shenanigans matlab?” Deepika responded to Love Aaj Kal 2 actor and wrote, “silly or high-spirited behavior, mischief (like you on most days) @kartikaaryan,” along with a laughing emoji.

This was not the first time the two biggies got involved in funny chitchat on social media. When Kartik went live on Insta during the lockdown period in May to inquire fans whether he should shave off his beard or not, Deepika mentioned using an emoji of a girl raising her hand showing that she wishes the actor to shave his beard. He also recently expressed his wish to wed a girl like Deepika “who shows off her husband proudly.”

Kartik was last seen in Imtiaz Ali’s Love Aaj Kal opposite Sara Ali Khan, which reached theaters on Valentine’s Day this year. The movie was a big dud.
