Aishwarya Rai and Aaradhya Bachchan were taken to hospital

Bollywood actor Aishwarya Rai and the daughter Aaradhya Bachchan were admitted to Mumbai's Nanavati Hospital.

On July 12 Aishwarya and Aaradhya tested positive for coronavirus. Both had been tested after the COVID-19 test results of Amitabh Bachchan and son Abhishek turned out to be positive. The remaining members of the family, including Jaya Bachchan, Shweta Bachchan and her children, had tested negative.

Amitabh Bachchan has taken to Twitter to post news of his diagnosis of coronavirus. He tweeted, "T 3590 -I tested positive for CoviD .. Transferred to Hospital .. Hospital authorities telling .. Family and workers checked, anticipated results .. All that has been in near proximity to me in the last 10 days is asked to get checked please!

A few hours later, Abhishek Bachchan posted on Twitter, "I tested positive for COVID 19 earlier today, both my father and I. We were both admitted into hospital with mild symptoms. We have told all the authorities needed and they are all being checked by our family and staff. I am asking everyone to remain calm and not panic. Thank you for that.
