In April when the war against COVID-19 had just begun, the country had unified and lit lamps, candles, and torches. While much smaller in size, the same gesture was performed by many people across the country, this time for Sushant Singh Rajput. Similarly, other actors joined the campaign, the stars took part in the quest for 'justice' and paid tribute to the actor who went through the protest.
Kangana Ranaut lit a candle for Sushant, who was among the most famous names to lift her voice against the big names. The team of the actress posted the image of her hometown Manali, thus using the hashtag of trending.
The Suman family, Shekhar Suman, Alka 's wife and Adhyayan 's son have joined Sushant 's campaign, and lit lamps.
Adhyayan wrote that Sushant would burn forever in our hearts, wishing he would be 'at rest,' as he requested a death investigation from the Central Bureau of Investigation. Shekhar Suman wrote Sushant will be sorely missed.
Ishkaran Singh Bhandari, the lawyer who was appointed by Dr Subramanian Swamy to look into the scope of a CBI investigation in the case, launched the hashtag. He called it 'World No 1 Digital Justice Protest for Sushant Singh Rajput.' Dr Swamy also joined the campaign by lighting the lamp as he talked to Republic TV, urging that the film industry be 'cleaned' and the pin be 'cleaned up'.
