The star has recently revealed the film's latest release date. Yes, the movie that was originally expected to be released on December 11, 2020, will now be released next year on August 13.
Maidaan comes with a new release date
Within the poster, Ajay declared the news and wrote, "2021 Independence week. An untold tale which is going to make every Indian proud. The date is 13th August. # Maidaan(sic)2021. The film is based on legendary former football player Syed Abdul Rahim, who from 1950 until his death in 1963 was also coach and manager of Indian national football team.
Directed by Amit Sharma, the film was co-produced by Boney Kapoor and Zee Studios.
