Police nabs criminals at Faridabad targeting Salman Khan

 

The arrest of a Lawrence Bishnoi gang sharpshooter, allegedly involved in the June murder of a Faridabad resident, has led police to discover what they say is a conspiracy to kill actor Salman Khan. The sharpshooter had already conducted a recce at Mumbai on the directions of Bishnoi earlier this year, according to police.

The accused, Rahul alias Sanga alias Baba alias Sunni (27), hails from Bhiwani and was arrested on 15 August from Uttarakhand, according to police. He is charged on 24 June with murder of Praveen, a resident of Faridabad who ran a ration depot.

"The questioning revealed that in January Rahul had traveled to Mumbai to conduct a recce for Salman Khan 's assassination. For the reason, he went to the actor 's house in Bandra and stayed in the area for two days, "said DCP (Headquarters) Rajesh Duggal.

Rahul was reportedly upset by Khan 's acquittal in a blackbuck poaching case in which Salman Khan was an accused. Reportedly, the plot to destroy Salman Khan could not be followed due to virus outbreak.
