Our  PM, Narendra Modi informed the country through his 'Mann Ki Baat' radio broadcasting program, which was the PM's second radio message after the widespread lockdown.
PM Modi also encouraged people to stop throwing in public areas, saying it would improve personal hygiene and reinforce the battle against COVID 19. PM Modi praised state governments' effort in combating the Covid-19 outbreak and said they had played a very active role. Lauding the effort of the corona warriors, PM said the struggle in India against Covid-19 is truly individuals-driven.

New Reports:

The overall number of new reports of coronavirus in India crossed the 26000 marks on Sunday with almost 2000 fresh cases of Covid-19 identified from across the country in 24 hours, so far more than 800 people have been killed in India.

Coronavirus in Uttar Pradesh Update- 

• With 50 reported cases, State Count Climbs To 1,834 Uttar Pradesh recorded two more coronavirus-related deaths on Sunday, bringing their total to 29 as 50 new cases of COVID-19 emerged in the state, a senior official in the government told PTI.
• With all of that, the maximum number of cases is rising to 1,843, said Amit Mohan Prasad, Principal Secretary, Medical and Health.
