Film actor Rishi Kapoor passes in hospital in Mumbai at 67

Film actor Rishi Kapoor took his last breath on 30 April. The actor was admitted Wednesday morning at HN Reliance Hospital in Mumbai. Since 2018, Rishi Kapoor has been battling cancer and spent a year in the US for treatment. On Wednesday night, the actor's uncle, Randhir Kapoor, told the media that he was admitted to hospital because of his declining health. 

Amitabh Bachchan confirmed the news of Rishi Kapoor’s demise on Twitter. The tweet by Amitabh read, “T 3517 - He's GONE .. ! Rishi Kapoor .. gone .. just passed away .. I am destroyed !”Amitabh Bachchan

Rishi was diagnosed with cancer in 2018 and, after his cancer diagnosis, he returned to India from New 
York in September last year.

Neetu Kapoor took to Instagram in March this year to share a 'meal out' photo with Rishi. She wrote,
"Meal out is so special after a long period of time!! You love every moment, enjoy every dish!"

In the web series The Body on Netflix, Rishi Kapoor was last seen. He also shot a movie earlier this 
year in Delhi.

Rishi Kapoor, Raj Kapoor's son, broke into the Indian cinema scene with his very first movie,
 Mera Naam Joker, in which he played the role of an artist child. The actor has won a Mera Naam 
Joker National Award.

Rishi Kapoor made his adult film debut in 1973, with Bobby, opposite Dimple Kapadia.
The first movie made Kapoor an overnight star, and brought a new hero to the nation.
