Coronavirus India Highlights: Total cases of Coronavirus in India have crossed the 74,000-mark, while COVID 19 death toll is more than 2400 in India. According to the data released by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the total number of COVID-19 cases in India now stands at 74,281, with 47,480 active cases and 24,385 patients cured / discharged. As many as 2415 people were killed and one migrated. The country's recovery rate stands at 31 per cent, said official at the Health Ministry. Prime Minister Narendra Modi suggested that the lockdown could be extended beyond 17 May.
