The child, who was not named as a minor, said that after arguing with his mother who had told him she would not buy him a Lamborghini, he had left home in the vehicle of his father.
"He wanted to take the car and go to California to buy one himself," the police said in a statement, adding: "He might have been short on the purchase price because he only had $3 in his pocket."
