Alia Bhatt Shares A Cryptic Note While Calling Kangana Ranaut, Read Here

In her sensational interview with Republic TV editor-in - chief Arnab Goswami on Saturday, Kangana Ranaut unpologetically named top industry figures saying they were responsible for causing mental distress to late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Ranaut called Alia Bhatt on 'The Nation Needs to Know' and brought up the episode of 'Koffee with Karan' where she had feigninly ridiculed the actor.

Reacting to the accusations, Alia Bhatt took her Instagram handle on Sunday to share a cryptic post that said, "The truth is the truth, even if no one believes it. A lie is a lie, even though everyone believes it." Alia and her family (including Mahesh Bhatt, Pooja Bhatt) have been on the receiving end of all the hate and criticism since the unfortunate death of Sushant Singh Rajput.

Kangana is Slamming Alia

Kangana hit on what she called 'nepotistic award shows' and remembered how Alia Bhatt won the Best Actress Trophy in 2019 for a 10-minute 'mediocre appearance' in Zoya Akhtar's movie 'Gully Boy.' She pointed out how her role of Rani Laxmi Bai was overshadowed in her debut directorial film 'Manikarnika,' and did not qualify as worthy of recognition. Similarly, despite raking in more money and critical acclaim at the Box-Office than a "mediocre film" like Gully Boy, Sushant's last onscreen production, 'Chichhore,' directed by 'Dangal' star Nitesh Tiwari, was snubbed at the award show.

Kangana alleged, "If Alia says he's going to be killed, he(Sushant) would think, 'nobody said anything?' Everyone saw that episode and it had big TRPs. Sushant never made it to the list of (good) actors. Only if he made it to the list was when one person was killed. Unless (Karan) puts Ranveer Singh or Ranbir Kapoor or Varun, he will not be able to kill either of them because they are all his chamchas. And he's going to put Sushant Singh Rajput because he knows no chamchagiri.'
