Junaid Shah, the Kashmir doppelganger of Ranbir Kapoor, passed away on Friday morning following a massive heart attack at his residence in Srinagar's Ellahi Bagh district. Junaid had caught eyeballs after a few years of surfacing on social media images of him with a close resemblance to Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor.
His similarity to Ranbir Kapoor had helped him attain several Mumbai modeling assignments. Junaid, 28, had recently returned to Valley to take care of his ailing father, according to the sources.
Several people took to social media to express their outrage at his sudden death.
