New Delhi: Apart from good wishes from personalities belonging to all walks of life hoping for a speedy recovery for Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan, on Sunday fan clubs held prayer meetings in several towns for the recovery of the Bachchans.
After the Bachchans said they tested positive for coronavirus on Saturday and were admitted to hospital, some people tried to gather outside the Vile Parle (West) medical facility, but were told to leave and not be allowed to stand on the lane, a police official said.
Security was also stepped up outside the two bungalows in Juhu area of the megastar.
Additional protection has also been installed outside the actor's bungalows where people can gather, a Juhu police station official said.
Mumbai civic authorities on Sunday sanitized Amitabh Bachchan's residential and office premises in Juhu city.
Contact-tracing was also being performed, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) official said. Outside Bachchan's bungalow a containment zone banner was put up.
