There have been rumors reportedly that Rubina turned down the show 'Jag Janani Maa Vaishno Devi' because it is pregnant.
Yet the actress has now responded to the rumors. While talking to India Today, Rubina said, “All these are just rumours. We 're not talking about it at the moment but we will definitely be talking about it in the future. Thanks to the people who gave us their congratulations. And, if there's good news, we 'd certainly share it with our fans, just as we've shared our past ups and downs in existence.

Speaking of her shift to Himachal the actress said, "I wanted to spend it under the open sky with my dear ones after the lockdown started. Abhinav and I have been dreaming for the last two-and-a-half months of moving to Himachal. We will actually make it. We flew to Ludhiana and traveled via road to Himachal from there. The biggest advantage being here is that Chopal, our town, falls under the green zone. It's the fruit season and we spend our time farming under the open sky. It's all about living in the moment and getting ourselves revived. It's really relaxing and calming for us.
In June 2018 Rubina tied the knot to long time handsome Abhinav Shukla.
