iOS 14 launch date, update, functionality, and ios compatibility

The release date for iOS 14 can't come fast enough, because Apple is making a host of new, long-overdue updates to the iPhone by 2020.

New iOS 14 features include widgets finally coming to home screen to break up the boring device tile look, picture-in-picture so you can watch videos in the corner of your screen while doing other tasks and digital keys to unlock your car with an iPhone.

Furthermore, the iPhone 12 was not released by Apple at WWDC. Yet this update to the operating system gave us insight into where the company is going for the next iPhone, and it's the app you'll discover later this year when you unbox the iPhone 12.
